Mike is an award-winning photographer with more than 30 years of experience. In 2004, he launched Curious Eye Productions with Anna Jaffe. He serves as Curious Eye’s director of photography, chief editor and technical advisor.
Mike is an expert in visual storytelling. Whether he’s shooting or editing, he has an innate ability to look at subjects from a unique perspective. He came up with the name Curious Eye. It’s not surprising because it describes his way of looking at the world through the lens of the camera.
Over the years, Mike has shot for all of the major broadcast and cable news networks and covered everything from NFL football to national politics. His work has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, CBS Evening News, The Today Show, PBS News Hour, Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, The Weather Channel, Discovery Channel, Telemundo, Univision, ESPN, NFL Network and FOX Sports 1, among others.
Mike’s received numerous awards from United Press International, the Associated Press, the Missouri Association of Broadcasters, the Kansas Association of Broadcasters and the International Association of Business Communicators.
